Subaru’s new BRZ sports car is nearly here.
The new Subaru will be launched this summer and priced between £24,995 and £27,995
The New Subaru will be promoted in just two specifications 2.0i SE, and 2.0i SE Lux . Both will have a choice of a six-speed manual or, for just £1,500 more, a six-speed automatic.
A more entery level Subaru S model is set for launch in early 2013.
Both of the Subaru launch models will have 17-inch alloy wheels, and fully automatic air conditioning with dual-zone controls as standard.
They will also have
- electrically-folding heated door mirrors
- keyless “Smart Entry”
- push-button engine start
- leather-trimmed steering wheel
- parking brake and gearshift lever
- Upgraded audio system with Ipod & Cd
- heated leather seats.
By building the two launch models with a good level of trim Subaru have managed to limit the amount of factory extras to just two which are sat nav and the obligatory metallic paint.
Every Subaru BRZ owner will also be able take advantage of Subaru’s free Everything Taken Care of (ETCo) service and aftercare pack.
The free of charge package even covers items that you may not associate with other after care packs.
- covers minor dent and scratch repairs
- alloy wheel repairs
- monthly wash
- annual valet
- lost keys replacement
- service collection and delivery
- annual wheel alignment check
- first Mot cover
- winter wheel and tyre storage
- contribution to insurance cover excess.
It will also have the 3 year standard warranty. So have Subaru got it right? Early indications are good with a string order bank already full of customers eagerly awaiting delivery. That said as always you the great British Public will have the final say.
Incidentally Toyota’s sister model the GT86 sister model will also have a launch price from £24,995.
With features like this the new Subaru is set for a strong launch with delivery dates already starting to build up.
