The Toyota Rav 4 has been a big part of Toyota sales since 1994 when it is reported to be the world’s first crossover Sports Utility Vehicle.

It was first launched in the USA and since then has sold over 1.7 million in the US alone, and is still built at the Woodstock factory in Canada.

Since 1996 there have been 3 generations of Toyota RAV4 which have been awarded numerous awards of the years.

Toyota recently introduced a sales slogan “Let’s Go Places” and it is hoped that the New Toyota Rav 4 will do just that, not only in the USA but in 150 other countries and regions in Australia and Europe.

So what has changed on the New Toyota Rav 4?

A new modern style makes this the most dynamic Rav 4 to date, the brand hoping that it will be set our emotions wild with a sporty character and a much more aggressive profile that not only helps to improve the look but also has aerodynamic and engine cooling benefits.

New projector-beam headlamps that is reported to improve visibility at night and a rear lift boot as apposed to the side opening of older models.

The new Toyota Rav 4 also has better fuel economy.

The new Toyota RAV4  All-Wheel Drive models will be the first Toyota’s equipped with Dynamic Torque Control, which automatically shifts from Front-Wheel Drive to All-Wheel Drive for better traction when accelerating quickly

There’s also a new six-speed automatic transmission.
